The first session of this two-week course will focus on understanding the key features of the Mac. You will learn how to organize and find files, how to use built-in apps to perform basic tasks, and how to configure the computer for better performance. You will learn how to protect your important files and what to do when trouble strikes. The second session will provide you with tips, tools, and techniques to help you use your Mac more effectively. Learn to use productivity apps, how to free yourself of clutter, and how to protect your important files. Learn more about what to do when trouble strikes. It does not matter if you are a beginner or a long-time Mac user, there are always new things to learn (or re-learn). Workshops are a mixture of presentations, demonstrations, and exercises. If you have a laptop bring it with you to class. Class participants will be provided with links to a variety of useful resources and tutorials.
