Basic Drawing as a Craft

In order to draw objects that are faithful and realistic, you must be able to observe the basic structural shape, and use line to reproduce the dimensions and proportions accurately. Learning to DRAW is a process of training your eyes and your hands. This Introduction to Basic Drawing as a Craft is developed to help you become connected with the drawing paper, observe and draw basic shapes using directional, gesture and simple lines to create complex objects. Participants will be introduced to various techniques to build an adequate foundation to Draw what they see. Materials: Sketch paper and /pencil, charcoal, ink pen or any other drawing medium you choose.
