This course is a continuation of Spanish 102, and it is recommended, but not required that you have taken Spanish 101 or 102 before taking this course. In this course we will cover the following topics: family vacations, describing people, describing feelings, and saying what we are doing: right now. We will cover the following vocabulary: family, emotions, descriptive adjectives, vacation activities, and vacation locations. We will use this vocabulary as we learn the following grammar: advanced use of the verbs that mean: to be, how gender is used with adjectives, how to use verbs that end in –er and –ir in the present tense, and how to use the present progressive. We will have in-class activities and conversations in Spanish, and there will take home practice activities to help you improve your skills.
